The Call for Speakers is now open, and the submission deadline has been extended to Friday, 17 April 2026!

We invite submissions of proposals for posters, papers and presentations to be considered for inclusion in the Actuarial Society of South Africa’s 2026 Convention on 7 and 8 October. The Convention will be held in person at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

Proposals should be closely aligned to the Convention theme of “Broadening Boundaries”. Broadening Boundaries is about expanding what it means to be an actuary. It is about engaging with global issues, embracing new tools such as artificial intelligence, and applying actuarial thinking in increasingly wider fields. It challenges us to look beyond our own markets and sectors, and to contribute meaningfully in a world that is increasingly connected and complex.
