Dr Sizwe Errol Nxasana is a renowned South African business leader and social entrepreneur with a distinguished career spanning corporate leadership, education innovation and social impact. In May 2025, he earned a PhD in Education from the UNESCO PBL Centre at Aalborg University in Denmark. He began his professional journey at Unilever, before founding Sizwe & Co in 1989 – the first blackowned audit practice in KwaZulu-Natal.

In 1996, he became the founding partner of Nkonki Sizwe Ntsaluba, now SizweNtsalubaGobodo (SNG Grant Thornton), which has grown to become the fifth-largest audit firm in South Africa. In 1998, he was appointed CEO of Telkom SA and led the company’s dual listing on the Johannesburg and New York Stock Exchanges. He later served as CEO of the FirstRand Banking Group from 2005 until his retirement from corporate life in September 2015.

Following his executive career, Dr Nxasana channelled his focus into transforming education in South Africa. He is the founder of Sifiso Learning Group – a holistic education ecosystem that includes Future Nation Schools, Nation NXT College (the Group’s teacher training unit, formerly Future Nation College), iKamva Preschool (formerly Future Nation Schools Preschool) and Sifiso EdTech. Together, these entities are committed to reimagining African education through accessible, technologyenabled and Afrocentric learning, with project-based learning (PBL) at its core to foster critical thinking, collaboration and real-world problem-solving.

Dr Nxasana currently chairs several influential foundations and trusts. He is the Co-founder and Chairperson of the National Education Collaboration Trust (NECT) and the Founder and Chairperson of the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP), which supports financially disadvantaged and “missing middle” students.

His contributions have been recognised with honorary doctorates from the University of Fort Hare, Durban University of Technology, the University of Johannesburg, Walter Sisulu University, and UNISA

Dr. Steve Harris, is the CEO of eta University College and a respected leader in business, performance psychology, and human potential. With a career spanning executive leadership, elite sport, entrepreneurship, and academia, he brings a unique perspective on building resilient individuals and high-performing organisations.

He previously served as a General Manager for a leading international FMCG organisation and was the mental performance coach to the Springbok rugby team, helping develop the psychological resilience required for success at the highest level of sport.

An accomplished entrepreneur, Dr. Harris was the winner of Anglo American’s prestigious Build a Business competition and is also a former World Champion in Surf Lifesaving.

He is the author of the e-book Mental Toughness as a Force Multiplier: From Surviving to Thriving and the novel Rainbow Road. He is also an acclaimed playwright, with his production Borderline performed at the National Arts Festival before touring South Africa.

Holding both a PhD and an MBA, Dr. Harris is a sought-after speaker and thought leader on leadership, mental toughness, resilience, and peak performance.

Jeremy Gardiner  joined  Ninety One in 1992, having begun his investment industry career in 1990. Today, he is one of South Africa’s most respected and recognisable commentators on economics, financial markets, and current affairs. 

A sought-after keynote speaker and regular contributor to the media, Jeremy is renowned for his ability to make complex economic and investment topics accessible, engaging, and relevant. Drawing on insights from some of the world’s leading analysts across politics, economics, and global markets, he connects the dots to provide audiences with a clear understanding of the forces shaping the investment landscape and the broader economy. 

During his 34 years with Ninety One, Jeremy has witnessed and contributed to the firm’s remarkable growth from a boutique Cape Town-based asset manager into a leading global investment manager entrusted with approximately R4 trillion in client assets.* 

Jeremy studied Accounting at the University of Cape Town and Economics at the University of the Witwatersrand. While he is quick to point out that he is neither an accountant nor an economist, his ability to translate complex financial and economic concepts into practical, easy-to-understand insights has made him one of the country’s most popular business speakers. 

Justin Floor is a qualified actuary and Head of Equities at PSG Asset Management, where he is portfolio manager on the firm’s Balanced, Global Equity, and Flexible strategies. He is a member of the firm’s Equity and Fixed Income investment committees, and has over 15 years of experience investing across global and local equity and fixed income markets. 

Victoria Reuvers is a senior investment professional with close to two decades of experience leading investment businesses across the South African wealth and asset management industry. As Managing Director of WealthStrat and a member of the Chartered Wealth Group Board, she oversees domestic and global portfolio strategy and is recognised for combining rigorous portfolio management with a strong client-centric, commercially astute approach to leadership. 

Victoria spent a decade at Morningstar Investment Management Group South Africa, joining as founder of Trivium Capital when the firm was acquired to establish Morningstar’s South African investment management business in 2015. She rose to Managing Director, leading the business and driving AUM growth across the independent advisory market, with accountability for distribution, investment products, operational efficiency, client service, brand integrity and compliance. She reported directly to the Group CEO in Chicago and served as a member of Morningstar’s Global Leadership team, working closely with counterparts across the US, UK and Australia. Earlier in her Morningstar tenure she was Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, leading the South African investment team and portfolio management function. 

Prior to Morningstar, Victoria founded and led Trivium Capital, an investment consulting and research firm in Cape Town, where she served as CEO and Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for investment research, portfolio construction and ongoing management of domestic and global multi-manager portfolios.  

Victoria’s career began at Ninety One (formerly Investec Asset Management), where she served as a Retail Fund Manager from 2005 to 2010. 

Across her career, Victoria has built and scaled investment teams, driven AUM growth, and served as a registered Key Individual within the FSCA regulatory framework.
