The Life Assurance Seminar 2026 brings together actuaries and industry leaders to engage with the most pressing issues facing South Africa’s life insurance industry.

As insurers navigate increasing regulatory demands, economic uncertainty, and shifting policyholder behaviour, the need for clear insight and sound professional judgement has never been greater.

This year’s seminar focuses on bridging the gap between technical frameworks and real-world decision-making. Through a series of thought-provoking presentations and discussions, the programme will explore how risk, regulation, and commercial realities intersect and how actuaries can respond with confidence, clarity, and perspective.

In 2026, the seminar will be hosted in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, giving members and industry professionals the opportunity to attend in the city most convenient for them.
