VIRTUAL CONVENTION |
19 - 22 OCTOBER |

|
|

Looking to connect with fellow attendees after sessions are closed? Don’t miss the virtual Salsa and Sundowners Happy Hour hosted by TAI!
Enjoy the ultimate sangria and some tasty tapas (complimentary kit sent in advance) and learn the secrets of Salsa dancing.
Plus hear from TAI’s Andy Hazell about the recipe for refreshing reinsurance administration and how to enter to win the
“Sunnies Selfie” contest. If that’s not enough reason to join, participants can also feel good about helping support the
ASSA charity – TAI will donate 150 Rand per attendee request (details on the kit). With so many reasons to join
the fun, we hope to see a fabulous turn out!

We have fantastic keynote speakers sharing their insights at the 2021 Virtual Convention! Schedule the following
two speakers as must-watch sessions in your diary:
Adrian Gore’s "FROM PRICING TO ENGAGING, FROM SPECTATING TO PARTICIPATING, FROM TRANSACTIONAL TO SHARED VALUE"
Wednesday, 20 October at 08:30 AM
This exhilarating session will address how global trends have the power to transform insurance markets and how
these have been accelerated by COVID-19. Adrian will be exploring the blurring of boundaries between three big
trends – the behavioural nature of risk, the acceleration of technology and the rising importance of purpose and
social responsibility – and how it creates a unique opportunity to transform insurance markets from transactional
to shared value, and in the process enlarge and broaden the role, scope and impact of actuaries. This is one session
you don’t want to miss out on!
