We invited members to submit proposals for papers and presentations to be considered for inclusion in the Actuarial Society’s 2025 Convention on 5 and 6 November. The Convention will be held in person at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The Convention scientific programme will encompass a broad spectrum of important, topical issues impacting the actuarial profession, technical content sessions covering various practice areas, and sessions delving into the professional life of actuaries and their involvement in broader fields. Additionally, it serves as a platform for the Actuarial Society to engage with members on various matters.
Consistent with previous years, fostering stimulating discussions remains a central objective of this year’s Convention, with preference given to submissions encouraging debate. Furthermore, the submission of papers was strongly encouraged and will be prioritised.
