The Absa Life Actuarial team has just over 50 people, with about a quarter being qualified actuaries and the remainder associate actuaries and students. The team covers the full end-to-end actuarial services for insurance entities in South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique. The Life business’s main focus is bancassurance, but they also have standalone products.
