South African Exams

This year, 2010, is a pivotal year for actuarial education in South Africa as we  have completed the transition to our own South African qualification. We have signed the mutual recognition agreements with the UK profession at the end of May 2009 and with the Australian profession at the end of november 2009.

September 2009 was also the first session that members of the Actuarial Society will be able to write the A100, A200 and A300 series (UK CT and CA) UK examinations without needing to be members of the UK profession.
