Presidential Newsletter

The almost-monthly newsletter from the Actuarial Society President (or the monthly-almost newsletter, as some would say) is essential reading for those who wish to avoid the cut and thrust of technical, intellectual debate about topical issues. The idea behind the newsletter is to provide a steady flow of information in easily disgestible chunks.

The former Communications Committee was of the opinion that shorter, more regular newsletters would enhance internal communication. The unofficial limit is three pages.
The President may not always be right, but will always be the President, so the long-suffering  members of the Society turn a blind eye when the newsletter runs into more than three pages. It has been said that some of these members turn a blind eye when the newsletter arrives in their Inboxes ...
