Constitution

(As approved at a Special General Meeting on 31 March 2009)

The 2009 Constitution represents a comprehensive review of the previous version, which was drafted in 1995-96.

Developments that necessitated this review include -

• The restructuring of Council into operational boards;
• The local-content qualification initiative;
• International developments, e.g. the globally recognised enterprise risk management designation; and
• Developments within the organisation that required amendments so as to ensure a more efficient administration.

Furthermore, the review provided an opportunity for some reformatting, rephrasing and other bits of pruning and weeding, resulting in a more presentable document.

Annexure 1 to By-Laws: Disciplinary Procedure applicable to complaints lodged up to 31 December 2011.

Disciplinary Procedure applicable to complaints received from 1 January 2012, with the covering email sent to members on 12 December 2011.
