CPD (Continuous Professional Development)

The documents linked to this page constitute the Actuarial Society's CPD Requirements, i.e. the Scheme itself, some frequently asked questions (with answers!) and South African reading for the various practice areas.

The CPD requirements of the Actuarial Society is set by Council, and falls under the Professional Skills Committee of the Education and CPD Board under its mandate of “Ensuring appropriate post qualification professional development opportunities and, in particular, the maintenance of the Society’s CPD framework, and monitoring the availability of appropriate CPD opportunities for members.”
